Ninth-grade students in Mrs. Brice-Hyde's history class recently collected information about family members and veterans of wars throughout the history of the U.S. 

"I created the Wall of Heroes project so students could explore the heroic histories of our true American Heroes: our American Veterans," Brice-Hyde explained. "Many students learned they had heroes in their own families and discovered Veterans and heroes that had the name Uncle, Grandpa, Great Grandpa. Students uncovered heroes and told their stories in the slide show. This project has given my students an appreciation for our men in uniform, their family's histories, and, most significantly, the importance of telling their stories to keep our nation's history alive."
